Membership in PWCA

"Any person whose primary responsibilities or interests are in the area of human development - specifically guidance, counseling, or personnel work and others with similar interests and responsibilities such as community agency workers, school social workers, school psychologists, paraprofessionals in counseling - shall be eligible for membership."

Membership in the Piney Woods Counseling Association is open to anyone with an interest in counseling, therapy, human development, or related areas, whether layperson or professional counselor. Our members span diverse work settings, including agencies, schools, colleges, businesses, and private practice.

The membership period extends from September 1st to August 31st of each year. During Leap Years we offer an additional day of membership free of charge. As a chapter of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA), PWCA encourages its members to join this state organization but it is not required.
